MODAPRIMA, the second edition of the Milan fair dedicated to department stores organized by Pitti Immagine. The 61st edition of ModaPrima, the international exhibition of fashion and accessory collections for department stores, the large-scale retail trade, chain stores, importers and wholesalers, will be held from 26th – 28th November.
The event organized by Pitti Immagine at fieramilanocity, in the MIC - MILANO CONVENTION CENTRE at Via Gattamelata 5, will premiere the trends for fall/winter 2007-2008 as well as flashes of the spring/summer 2007 collections.
After last May's successful launch, Pitti Immagine is continuing its ambitious revival of this event, projecting it into a new phase which aims to develop and perfect its specific features.
The figures for the last edition highlight the fair's positive growth trend: the visitors totaled 1,992 – a 10% increase with respect to the November 2005 edition, and a 50% rise in foreign attendees, with a massive presence of visitors from Japan, followed by Turkey, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Russia, France and Germany.
ModaPrima is increasingly becoming a select international rendezvous showcasing the best Made in Italy companies producing private label, programmed fashion and ready to wear clothing and accessories collections for men and women.
Quality, creativity and product segmentation are the key words characterizing an event which offers incisive proposals, with 71 companies presenting over 200 collections, as well as occasions for providing information about the latest fashion trends.
