25th INDIA KNIT FAIR completed

This Event INDIA KNIT FAIR is organized by APPAREL Export Promotion Council sponsored by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India in collaboration with Tirupur Exporters' Association under the umbrella of India Knit Fair Association (IKFA).

Most of the global players are eyeing the Indian Market with great interest as one of key suppliers of Textiles and Clothing in the Post Quota Scenario With the application of the knitting technology and knitted fabrics expanding rapidly all over the world.

This Knitwear segment of garment industry has experienced many changes in the recent times. With improved technology, we have overcome the limitations like shrinkage and torque in knitted fabrics/garments and this has opened more opportunities.

The India Knit Fair has emerged as one among the most reputed trade fairs in the world. The best of the brand leaders / stores / wholesalers / importers have already identified TIRUPUR AS ONE OF THE Major sources for their consumers' requirements. IKF aims to showcase the end-to-end products, materials and services pertaining to the knitwear segment.

The Silver Jubilee edition of India Knit Fair, (Autumn/Winter, Mid-summer Collection – 2008) , which began at IKF Complex here on Wednesday , amply demonstrated the message and showed the exporting community's eagerness to attract new buyers in the changed scenario.

SYMPOSIUM & INAUGURATION OF 25TH IKF:
As the Readymade Garment industry is getting adorned to globalization, it has become all the more necessary to convene a Symposium on Knitwear Exports, coinciding with this edition. The event was organized on 16th October, 2007 at IKFA Complex, Tirupur.
