BC Fashion Week concludes on a successful note

In addition to the unique collector handbag, BC Fashion Week celebrates with the development of another exciting piece of merchandise. A commemorative CD, “Sound of Fashion”, was launched this season, with partner DOSE newspapers. The CD is a compilation of the work of the DJs that participated in each of the After Parties during BC Fashion Week, including DJ Kit Kat, Safra, DJ Ali Sani, Nicky Delgado and Kasa.

Markovich informed that the music played during the parties was too great to not let people listen to it beyond those three nights during the week. The Sound of Fashion Spring 2006 represents the first edition of what will be a regular part of the fashion week in future seasons.

British Columbia Fashion Week (BCFW) is a high profile event aimed at establishing Vancouver as an emerging fashion centre and a true partner in the global fashion world, along with centres such as Milan, Paris, London, New York, Toronto, Hong Kong and Sydney.

It showcases some of Canada's top and emerging designers and brings some of the world's most influential retailers and media to Vancouver's shores.
