From 26 - 28 April 2006, Karlsruhe will once again host the world's largest trade fair for used machinery and equipment. RESALE will again be the gathering place for over 500 exhibitors and approx. 10,000 visitors from more than 100 countries (2005: 10,085 visitors from 118 countries).
The exhibiting companies represent stocks of over 160,000 machines and pieces of equipment for virtually every sector of industry. This year is the twelfth edition of the trade fair, which first opened its doors in 1995 and it takes place against the background of a dynamically developing international market in used machinery.
- No. 1 in the used machinery market - Over 500 exhibitors from 24 countries - 10,000 visitors from over 100 countries - Synergies through the Hannover Fair and "wire" in Düsseldorf - Large international supporting programme
German Export Trade also sees signs of rejuvenation in the long stagnating German economy. "At the same time, growing confidence and a looming economic recovery in Germany are encouraging domestic companies to increase investment," continues Wolfgang Putzier, "with the result that large quantities of high quality used machinery and equipment of all types are coming onto the market."
Wolfhart Putzier, Chairman of the German Export Trade (BDEx) adds that the range of products on offer reflects every aspect of efficient German industrial technology: "It stretches from metal working and plastics processing machines to textile machines and packaging machinery, machine tools, construction machinery and printing systems," he says naming just a few of the products in greatest demand among foreign customers.
