Mitsubishi Chemicals Corporation will shut its Kashima No. 2 naphtha cracker for around 50 days to carry out maintenance turnaround later this month.

“The Kashima No. 2 naphtha cracker, with ethylene production capacity of 489 kt/year, will remain shut from August 27 to October 16, 2013, for regular turnaround,” a company official told fibre2fashion.
