The focus on technological upgrading of the textile production process may provide another opportunity for Italian textile machinery manufacturers to meet Pakistani textile operators.
On its parts, ACIMIT, in collaboration with ICE (the Italian Trade Commission), has always had several opportunities to meet the Pakistani textile sector, as it has set up over the years an intensive programme for increasing contacts between operators from the two Countries.
ACIMIT (Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers) is a private national body that gathers Italian textile machinery companies producing more than 80% of the entire Italian textile machinery production, and some associated members (consortia, technical schools, technical magazines, research centres).
