"The income from levy payments will be supplemented with cash reserves held by AWI, reducing them to a level the Board believes is sustainable for the future."
Voting packs have been sent to woolgrowers who have paid $100 or more in wool sales levy in the three years to 30 June 2006.
Votes need to be returned by 3 November; results will be announced at the AWI Annual General Meeting 2pm, 14 November at Armidale, New South Wales.
AWI Chairman, Ian McLachlan said WoolPoll 2006 is the opportunity for all levy payers to have their say and vote on the future direction of the industry.
"I would strongly urge all eligible producers to carefully consider the levy options outlined in the WoolPoll voter information kit," said Mr McLachlan.
