Kazakhstan invites Pakistani textile manufacturers for investment

Kazakhstan offers free land to foreign investors in textile sectors and other industrial units in special economic zone.
This was stated by Deputy Head of the Chancery of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan and Leader of Delegation Mr. Berdibek Saparbaev in a meeting with the members of The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) at Federation House Karachi.
While presenting other foreign investment incentives he informed that Kazakhstan also offers all major tax and customs duty exemptions besides low labour wages, low utility charges and best banking facilities including opening of foreign currency accounts and no restriction on remittances.
He also invited Pakistani textile and garments manufacturers for investment in Kazakhstan which has ideal geographical advantages and can help access to European and other central states.
While addressing the members of FPCCI the Leader of Kazakhstan Trade Delegation informed that Kazakhstan has a rich natural resources and advance infrastructure which has been attracting foreign investment.
He informed the house that Kazakhstan has attracted US $ 45 billion in 15 years since independence. He further informed that economic indicators of Kazakhstan are also encouraging. Kazakhstan has achieved 9.4 GDP growth rate, inflation at present is 7.5 percent and unemployment stands at 8.4 percent. He said that Kazakhstan has major industries in oil, coal, metals, agricultural machinery etc.
