Driza-Bone last week launched its 'second generation' collection of outdoor active wear that will feature in retail outlets across Europe this season.

“These garments are made from 100 per cent Australian Merino wool and are catching the eye of fashion conscious consumers who want good quality gear, that is soft on the skin and easy to wear,” Mr Williams said.

“Comfortable and machine washable, they are specially designed to keep the wearer comfortable and dry from the inside out.”

Driza-Bone's latest sportswear collection caters for men and women and includes 12 sports inspired styles and will be available in Driza-Bone outlets across Australia in February 2007, for the winter season.

Mr Williams said AWI and The Merino Company had provided Driza-Bone with technical, supply chain and marketing support to help create the collection which will be available for next year's Australian winter.

Registration for the AWI Innovation in Action forum is from 8.00am with the forum beginning at 8.30am and the AWI Annual General Meeting at 2pm.
