AWI has de-registered large numbers of shareholders who haven't sold wool for 3 years, which it is required to do under the Company's constitution.
This is the third year in a row that candidates challenging for positions on the AWI Board have attempted to de-stabilise the voting process by publicly challenging it.
AWI's process is sound, professionally conducted, independently audited, and legally compliant; to ensure the wishes of Australian woolgrowers and AWI shareholders are carried out.
AWI does not conduct the election for WoolPoll. This is conducted by the WoolPoll Panel, which is independent of AWI.
