Nominations for election to the Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) Board of Directors open on 15 September 2007.
Current members of the AWI Board of Directors, Dr Kevin Bell, Mr Peter Sykes and Mr Hugh Nivison are retiring, but have all advised they will be seeking re-election.
Three Directors must stand down to create the required three vacancies to be contested in the election to the Board, as required in the Company constitution.
Anyone can nominate in writing before 3 October 2007, provided they are supported by at least 100 AWI shareholders.

The election of Directors will be held at the AWI Annual General Meeting.
AWI will hold its Annual General Meeting at 2.00pm on Wednesday 14 November 2007, at the Kardinia Heights Centre, Bell Post Hill which is 4km north-west of Geelong, Victoria.
