AWI must receive all nominations in writing before 3 October 2007. Anyone can be nominated, provided they are supported by at least 100 AWI shareholders eligible to vote at this year's AGM and the person nominated consents to the nomination.

The election will be held at the AWI Annual General Meeting at 2.00pm EST on Wednesday 14 November 2007, at the Kardinia Heights Centre, Bell Post Hill, which is 4km north-west of Geelong, Victoria.
Current members of the AWI Board of Directors, Dr Kevin Bell, Mr Hugh Nivison and Mr Peter Sykes are retiring, but have all advised they will be seeking re-election.
Three Directors must stand down to create the required three vacancies to be contested in the election to the Board, as required in the Company constitution.
