Dr Chaudhuri as Chairman of National Committee, Textile Institute

In an interactive AGM of the Textile Institute, Northern India chapter held yesterday 7th October 2007 at the holy place of Mathura, Dr S K Chaudhuri, Regional Director of The Woolmark Company has be unanimously elected as the Chairman of the National Committee of the globally respected “The Textile Institute”.
Prof S C Anand of Bolton Textile Institute who is currently the global Chairman elect of the Manchester based Institute was also present as an observer on the occasion.
Dr Chaudhuri said in reply to his acceptance of the position offered to him “I am really honoured having elected as the Chairman of the National Committee of such an important global forum."
"I also consider this as a recognition to the organization I work for and specially now when The Australian Wool Innovation has taken over The Woolmark Organisation. I will do my best to serve the purpose of the forum.”
