- Co-operation in areas of mutual interest such as joint events seminars and conferences;
- The exchange of information on best practice;
- BSI providing technical expertise to CII to develop and implement standards
The priority areas for co-operation for 2007 (Annexure 1) are Sustainability Management, Integrated Management Requirements, Food Safety and Business Risk.
The two parties will also work together to identify best practice in the context of the application of new standards and practices with specific relevance to the service sector.
Co-operation will be implemented through meetings and communication between the BSI and CII, represented by the Marketing Director of British Standards and the Head of CII, UK.
