Dr Kevin Bell, Mr Roger Fletcher and Mr Charles Olsson have been elected to the Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) Board of Directors.
The result of the election was announced, 14 November 2007, at the company's Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Geelong, Victoria.
Six candidates nominated for the three positions on the AWI Board, Dr Kevin Bell, Mr Roger Fletcher, Mr Hugh Nivison, Mr Charles Olsson, Mr Robert Pietsch and Mr Peter Sykes.
Dr Bell received 139,709 votes in favour of his re-election to the Board, Mr Fletcher received 160,464 votes in favour of his election and 141,513 votes were cast in favour of Mr Olsson.
Mr Hugh Nivison received 127,916 votes in favour, while 119,084 votes were cast in favour of Mr Pietsch and 113,809 in favour of Mr Sykes.
