- The major items in staple fibre viz. of polyester staple fibre has increased by 132% and viscose staple fibre has also shown a growth of 38%.
- U.A.E., the largest market for Indian MMF textiles has shown a fall of 24%.
- USA, which witnessed a spectacular growth in 2004, has been showing a declining trend from the start of this year and in August 2005 it has declined by 31%.
