Lithuanian Apparel and Textile Industry Association joins together 170 joint-stock companies and private firms of textile, clothing, leather, fur and footwear as well as other light industry production and services enterprises, providing jobs for more than 60.000 people. This is one of the key industrial branches of the country that influences very much the macroeconomic stability of the country.
