All signs pointed to a successful winter '07 apparel season at the October LA International Textile Show at the California Market Center.
The show attracted a wide variety of new and returning attendees such as Louis Verdad, St John, Charlotte Tarantola, BCBG, Arden B, Tadashi, C&C California, Hard Tail, Laundry, Babystyle, Bebe, Karen Kane, Guess Inc, Haute Baby, Jessica McClintock, Tarina Tarantino, Rock & Republic and Lucky Jeans looking to find new and inspirational information and resources.
The International Textile show also welcomed back the French and Italian Pavilions, as well as 14 Korean exhibitors.
"This has been a really strong show for us, said Ben Lee, Director of Leasing. "Every day that I walked the floor, I saw exhibitors consistently writing orders. Overall, we are very happy with the show and while it is already the premier textile show on the West Coast, it continues to get better every year."
Adrienne Sulaver, Textile Show Manager was also very pleased with the success of the show. "The LA International Textile Show brings together the best in trend forecasting and international and domestic representation of fabric and trim. We also received very positive feedback from our exhibitors as to the quality and variety of attendees at the show."
The LA International Textile Show started on Monday with a flood of retailers that took many longtime show veterans like Hal Kaltman, President of Textile Association of Los Angeles and Hal Kaltman Textiles by surprise.
