During the month of April 2007, the Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises continued to implement its various schemes, programmes, etc to assist the promotion and growth of small enterprises.
NSIC conducted 12 Intensive Campaigns and 9 Marketing Promotion Seminars at various places in the country.
The National Institute of Small Industries Extension Training (NISIET), Hyderabad conducted 50 training programmes for 1074 participants.
The Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), Guwahati conducted 15 training programmes for 452 participants. The National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD), NOIDA conducted 5 training programmes for 70 participants.
