Saks Incorporated to open second Parisian store in Alabama

Retailer Saks Incorporated has announced that it plans to open a new Parisian store in Prattville, Alabama (metropolitan Montgomery) in spring 2008.
A one-level, 80,000 square foot Parisian specialty department store will be the anchor in the High Pointe Town Center, a new 'lifestyle' center being developed in Prattville, Alabama (metropolitan Montgomery).
The store is scheduled to open in spring 2008. High Pointe Town Center will be an open-air center where customers can shop in a pedestrian friendly, park-like environment with a wide selection of shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
Toni Browning, President and CEO of Parisian, said, "We are excited about expanding our presence in metropolitan Montgomery by opening a new showcase Parisian store in one of the fastest growing areas of this vibrant market. High Pointe Town Center is sure to be a wonderful development and a shopping destination for the entire community."

Parisian stores carry a wide selection of fashion apparel, shoes, and accessories for the entire family, as well as cosmetics and specialty gift items. In addition to brands typically found at traditional department stores, Parisian stores carry limited distribution specialty brands such as Karen Kane, Sigrid Olsen, Lauren, Tahari, Free People, 7 For All Mankind, Robert Talbott, Tommy Bahama, Joseph Abboud, Bobby Jones, Callaway, Cutter & Buck, Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier, Trish McEvoy, MAC, Donald Pliner, Stuart Weitzman, Kate Spade, Cole Haan, Coach, Merrell, and Brighton.
