Textiles, high-tech and IT are on the bilateral expansion agenda between Jordan and Israel, said Jordanian trade minister at Sixth WTO Ministerial Conference in Hong Kong.
Qualifying Industrial Zones (QIZs) dominates Jordan's imports, which amount to $150 million this year.
Total trade agreement among Israel, Jordan and European Union would come into force in early 2006, expected Ehud Olmert, Minister of Finance.
Olmert also had business meeting with CEO of Hutchison Whampoa, and proposed a joint R&D fund, similar to the funds established by the Chief Scientist with Microsoft, IBM, Motorola, and Oracle.
