Nominal GDP grew at 9.8 per cent in the last fiscal to reach ₹330.68 trillion ($3.864 trillion).
In the fourth quarter (Q4) of FY25, real GDP and nominal GDP grew by an estimated 7.4 per cent and 10.8 per cent respectively.
The primary sector saw a 4.4-per cent growth rate in the last fiscal compared to a growth rate of 2.7 per cent in the preceding fiscal. During Q4 FY25, this sector saw a 5-per cent growth rate compared to a rate of 0.8 per cent in the corresponding quarter of the preceding fiscal.
Private final consumption expenditure (PFCE) saw a 7.2-per cent growth rate during FY25 compared to a 5.6 per-cent growth rate in the preceding fiscal.
Gross fixed capital formation witnessed a growth rate of 7.1-per cent during the fiscal and 9.4 per cent in Q4 FY25, an official release said.
Real gross value added (GVA) was an estimated ₹171.87 trillion in FY25, registering a growth rate of 6.4 per cent. Nominal GVA was an estimated ₹300.22 trillion during the fiscal—a growth of 9.5 per cent.
Real GVA in Q4 FY25 was estimated at ₹45.76 trillion—a growth of 6.8 per cent. Nominal GVA in Q4 of FY 2024-25 was an estimated ₹79.46 trillion—a growth of 9.6 per cent.
