As a Sri Lankan delegation met US trade representative Jamieson Greer recently in Washington D.C. to discuss reciprocal tariffs, both sides agreed to continue discussions aimed at finalising a bilateral trade agreement in the shortest possible duration.The delegation updated Greer on the challenges that Sri Lanka has been facing in the past and the steps taken by the government to overcome future challenges and move towards full economic recovery, a release from the president’s media division said.
