Eurostop has been selected by DAKS, the British luxury menswear, womenswear and accessories brand, to supply retail management and EPOS solutions. DAKS will be using Eurostop's WinPOS software across its stores and concessions throughout the UK, as well as its standalone store in Germany. WinRMIS will be used at head office to control stock across the branch network.
Eurostop was selected for its proven retail experience, and its solution's ease of use and strong reporting capability. WinRMIS replaced an existing system that was unable to be adapted to meet DAKS changing requirements for use across its growing branch network. Using data sent real time via broadband from till points in branches and concessions the DAKS head office will be able to view flash sales immediately.
Transfers of stock will be managed across the stores by the head office using Eurostop's solution. DAKS intends to use sales data to improve customer service with targeted promotions and merchandising.
DAKS also plans to use the multi-currency and language ability that Eurostop provides to enable use of the retail management system in its Munich store and in an imminent retail outlet in Italy.
Jonathan Robb of Daks said, “We reviewed a lot of retail systems in the market but Eurostop was the best fit. They have experience of working with retail customers of a similar size to us and the right approach to in-store systems that we needed."
“The increased visibility of data and the ease with which we can now generate a huge number of reports is tremendous. We are excited at the opportunities that Eurostop's solutions will give us both with improved customer service and reporting capabilities. It is a key project in DAKS' plans for the future.“
