JOY, the 'urban lifestyle retailer' has expanded to open its new concept stores HOB, specialising in kitchenware, and has chosen to use WinRMIS retail management system provided by Eurostop, a leading supplier of retail systems to the fashion, footwear and general merchandise sector.
The first of the new stores is now open in The Brunswick at Bloomsbury in London, and will stock a wide range of exotic and practical goods related to kitchen and homeware, with the quirky twist from young designers that typifies the retailer's style. The company plans to introduce touch screen tills as it expands across the four stores that are due to open in the next few weeks.
Eurostop's software will enable JOY to manage the new wide range of stock across its branches, as well as provide up to the minute sales reports.
The company originally invested in Eurostop's WinRMIS and WinPOS to capture sales data at till point and manage stock across its existing15 fashion stores nationwide. Eurostop's was selected for its expertise in retail, notably the fashion industry where stock turnover needs to be managed tightly to ensure best sellers are stocked to meet demand and funds are not tied up in non-popular lines.
JOY currently uses Eurostop's business intelligence data cubes for advanced management reporting. The powerful data-mining module and suggested inter-branch transfers features in Eurostop's software are invaluable for JOY's business, with such a diverse range of stock.
