Candidates would be interview by a panel of three judges and judging assessment would include a written response to criteria, personal presentation, ability to communicate and response to interview process.
Candidates will be assessed on their ability and knowledge of breeding and promoting Merinos and any role they have played in the overall advancement of Merinos.
Mr Quartermain said AWN would provide a suit length of beautiful Merino fibre for the winner of the award and all finalists will be recognised for their participation in the award.
