A trader told Fibre*Fashion, “Production of superfine counts remains limited as it is less attractive for spinners. Demand, however, is strong due to ongoing festive buying. Although loom sector demand for Diwali is nearly complete, finer cotton yarn continues to see good demand.”

In Mumbai, ** carded yarn of warp and weft varieties were traded at &#****;*,***-*,*** (~$**.**-**.**) and &#****;*,***-*,*** (~$**.**-**.**) per * kg (excluding GST), respectively.
