Cotton yarn prices eased in Ludhiana market as demand from consumer industries remained very weak. Cotton yarn prices came down by &#****;* per kg for different counts and varieties. A trader from Ludhiana market told Fibre2Fashion, “Cotton yarn demand further weakened as higher US tariff may hurt sentiments in cotton textile value chain. Expensive cotton garment is mainly exported to the US and other countries. Festival demand may support polyester and polyester-cotton (PC) garment in domestic market.”
