A trader from Ludhiana told Fibre*Fashion, “All types of textile fibres now fall under a uniform rate of * per cent. Fibre manufacturers will revise prices for the next fortnight and may partly withhold the benefit of the GST cut. Buyers have delayed purchases as they want to see further price reductions.” Payment constraints also discouraged PC and polyester yarn buying.
