Kellwood Company announced it has completed the purchase of Hanna Andersson Corporation, according to Robert C. Skinner, Jr., Kellwood chairman, president and chief executive officer.
Headquartered in Portland, OR, Hanna Andersson is a leading brand in the specialty children's apparel market. Hanna Andersson will function as its own operating division under the Kellwood umbrella. Philip Iosca will continue as president and chief executive officer of Hanna Andersson.
Kellwood purchased Hanna Andersson for approximately $175 million.
Kellwood Company, a $2 billion marketer of apparel and consumer soft goods, specializes in branded as well as private label product, and markets to all channels of distribution with product specific to a particular channel.
