The Swiss Textiles Association (Swiss Textiles) and annabelle, the biggest Swiss women's magazine, have been informed by the Gwand Foundation that it has incurred excessive debts and has no prospect of restructuring.
The Gwand Fashion Event therefore cannot be held in November 2005. As the preparations being made by both partners have already reached an advanced stage, they have decided to present their intended awards (Swiss Textiles Award and annabelle Award) at a jointly organized event in Lucerneon 26 November 2005.
This event will take place under their own aegis in the planned international framework.
This decision was taken when they learned that the Gwand Foundation had contracted excessive debts and had no prospect of restructuring.
This year's event will once again be held on the exclusive premises of the Schweizerhof Hotel which is a historic monument in Lucerne.
