Lexington, Kentucky based mattresses & neck pillows maker Tempur-Pedic International Inc, the company 's newest mattress, 'The OriginalBed by Tempur-Pedic,' debuted to rave reviews at the World Market Center in Las Vegas.
'Retailer reaction to 'The OriginalBed by Tempur-Pedic' was outstanding,' said Tom Bryant, President of Tempur-Pedic International Inc. "Company's customers expressed a strong desire for an entry-level premium priced product, and they delivered. They are happy to report that their customers feel 'The OriginalBed by Tempur-Pedic' surpassed their expectations, and they've had a very successful launch here in Las Vegas."
Attendance at the Las Vegas show exceeded everyone's expectations and was the highest attended show in Tempur-Pedic's history. Visitors to Tempur- Pedic's Las Vegas showroom increased over 200 percent from the April High Point show.
Bryant added, "After full days of a crowded showroom, it was clear the addition of 'The OriginalBed by Tempur-Pedic' was what Tempur-Pedic retailers were looking to bring to their customers. They expect that the $1199 (queen size) price point will enable company to attract a considerably broader universe of customers to their premium offerings."

"They have all of the models, all of the comfort levels in stock and now they can address the premium entry level with a powerful tool to expand their sales."
