Georges Papa, T D F, S R L: We are quite satisfied with the organisation and commercial results at Intex and we have met not only Indian but also international buyers. We trust the management will keep improving and will definitely come in larger numbers from Italy & other parts of Europe in the next edition of April 2006.
Vivienne Chee, Marketing Manager, H K T D C: We have received number of enquires from Indian companies looking for Hong Kong manufacturers in fashion accessories. Intex has really been good as we have received enquiries from quality buyers who are actually looking for sourcing of fashion accessories as well as fabrics from Hong Kong. There is no particular tie-up we are looking from India but we will be showcasing number of Hong Kong companies in the near future to Indian manufacturers. Also, we will have commercial participation from Hong Kong in the fairs.
Bruno Carpentier, General Manager, Beauvillain-Davoine, France: The response is okay. See, it is meant for very special visitors, considering that, the response is okay. We have got some very good trade enquiries. Considering the fact that this is for the first time, it is nice. We would like to definitely come again. The fair is good but it is getting hampered by the duties charged by the government. If you want the response to improve, something has to be done about the duty at the earliest. I have not seen India, if time permits, I will visit some places. India being an important country for us, we will keep coming here again and again. As for the arrangement of fair is concerned, we cannot really compare it with European countries as they are doing it for some years now. But, India is a growing market and catching up with the rest of the world. The trade prospects seem to be good.
